The zine is so SO great you guys. I went through it once quickly and can't wait to get it home tonight to really look at it in detail. It's beautiful....special shout out to Patti and her minions and to jroz for her awesome covers and cool buttons.......I immediately put the Z one on my jean jacket....it's got a cute pic of zoey and Z can also stand for Zahabi, which is me.
YAY!

I loved the custom work that went into this 'zine. The beadwork on the binding took me by surprise. The braille wrapper with my initial. The buttons. WOW! Lisa, you amaze me with your crypto design genius. Fantastic work everyone! This is a 'zine to remember!

I was only concerned because some people hate that kind of binding. But it was the right one for this project, or the book wouldn't have been able to lie flat when closed.

Hey patti, i was wondering if I could meet up with you some time this week to get my zine.. I don't know if your heading out to Em this weekend or not, but just let me know... Even though I have seen all the pages I can't wait to get mine all bound up

I love all your binding ideas Patti! However, I do like the spiral binding because it's so easy to peruse the pages like that! Sometimes I get "afraid" to look at my zines because I don't want to crease a page or mess them up. Maybe some folks think spiral is too generic, but I like it. It was PERFECT for this issue. What a great idea.

Oh yea, while we're on the subject of folding pages! Me and Karma's collaboration, unfortunately, requires a little bit of TLC while handling. We "scored" as much as we could (actual scoring wouldn't have helped) but we are mere humans, so we had to use mere human glue, etc.

I feel sheepish for only putting mine on good white paper. I hope people (that don't already know) can figure out what I did. I wanted to cut it out, but it just got too labor intensive. But the patience to do the binding, holy cow! IMPRESSED and thanks for the...well, you know.
